Hope that helps - if you're still having problems it would be helpful for you to post a screenshot of what your setup/assignment screen looks like when you're having the problem, and maybe someone around here can help figure it out.īTW - do you happen to have lots of USB devices attached (e.g., more than 8)? IIRC, there was something posted on the IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad (BoS) Forums a while back indicating that BoS may have some trouble recognizing controllers properly if there are too many of them attached. When you get all your commands on all the screens you want assigned and have hit "apply" like above, it's a good idea to then "export"/save your assignments down into a file that you give a custom name to (I use something simple like Logitech-1.037 since I tend to have several test versions going from time to time, but you can call yours anything you want, as long as it's different from the normal default name for the file) - that way, your personal assignments will not be over-written and set back to default values when they release another patch/update - this can save you a lot of time and frustration.

When you have all the commands on that page/screen assigned like you want, click "apply" here ĥ. When you have the right thing assigned, click "apply" here Ĥ. If you move your joystick forward (or back) before you move or press anything else, you should see a reference to your joystick's Y axis appear in this space ģ. Again, start by clicking in any of the three columns next to the command you're trying to assign Ģ. The screenshot below shows what it looks like when it works correctly:ġ. If that happens, click on retry and try to move your joystick before your mouse moves (rinse and repeat as many times as you need to until you get the hang of not moving your mouse by mistake). If you happen to move your mouse before you move your joystick forward (or back), you will see it put one of your mouse axes in this space ģ. Click in one of the three columns by the command you're trying to assign (pitch in this case) Ģ. Not sure what might be going wrong - probably need to know more about exactly what's happening when you try to assign the commands to your joystick.įor example, the screenshot below shows what it looks like when you move your mouse by mistake (like when you're reaching for your joystick):ġ.
